Maria's
family was able
to go onto the base in Germany (Wildflecken) where
they
lived
from 1979-82. The base closed in the early nineties and has been
used
by the
Germans since the mid-nineties. The housing is no longer in use,
so the
street
where they lived is like a ghost town. They were able to get
into
the house
they lived in, which is now abandoned, and were flooded with
memories!! |
